Qanvas

Neha Anum is your typical girl, full of energy and the urge to achieve perfection her life has been all about moments and how to make them live forever. Out to find the perfect way to freeze the moments she stumbled upon photography just 14 at that time she was wise enough to understand that its not just an art form but a way of life.

Born and bred in the beautiful city of Islamabad, Neha had the opportunity of exploring different cultures from all around the world. With diplomats she got to witness the cultures that inhabit this world and being a tourist rich city she got the opportunity of interacting with people from different parts of Pakistan. At first it was all overwhelming and she felt the need to write it down but that wasn't enough to justify her hunger, she wanted the world to feel what she has felt. So in an early age her curiosity led her to find the best way possible to express what was inside her, a camera somehow made its way in her life and in that instant she knew what she wanted. It wasn't just about clicking people but the connections between people and architecture, the emotions that flow with every interaction between the forces of nature when they are together. Her first break came 3 years back when she got herself a DSLR, the piece of plastic with enormous power was not just something she was proud off but her urge to create something beautiful with it led her to her first big shoot. It was an unplanned cover shoot for 6 girls but the experience changed her life, the hours she spent clicking made her feel deeper in love with photography and when she finally delivered her work to the clients they absolutely loved it, stunned by her work they applauded her effort giving her a reason to go higher.

People around her have always been as enthusiastic about getting their pictures taken as she is about taking them. A blessing in disguise as she likes to call it, they made her a better photographer because she could experiment with them whenever she wanted and it helped her explore her skills and equipment. Most of the skills were self acquired but there were times when she found herself lost and internet proved itself as a tool which helped her excel. Last year she had the opportunity of visiting Great Britain which provided her with an opportunity to further explore her love, a country full of heritage its a wonder how a photographer can keep themselves from clicking everything it has to offer. With the London Cabs to Big Ben everything felt welcoming and posing for the camera.

Her mantra has always been FOLLOW YOUR HEART, she feels most photographers flush out because they focus on what others are saying rather then what their heart tells them, to her a photograph is more then just a frozen moment. Its an extension of the soul, the photographer is a creator and if the creator is not in love with love with its creations then how can someone else even like it. She feels hopeful about the industry on the whole with new people picking up their cameras and hunting for a shot that can make them famous, soon a time will come when the traditional art of photography will evolve into something fabulous. It won't just be about a good click but it would be more about connecting with the audience. Mostly working as a hobbyist Neha is not scared to accept challenging shoots and if you are looking for someone who can give you a unique photo then she is the one you should hire.
