A city girl with dreams of capturing all there is, inspirations flooding in from every direction, Rameen is someone who is working on getting to the point where her work defines her and the industry revolves with her. Her passion for photography has been with her for ages but she started taking it seriously a few years back, eager to prove her worth she picked up a genre that most artists never try. Vehicles are what make her trigger finger itch and she plans to bring Pakistan its one of a kind artist who focuses primarily on vehicles.
For her a photograph is more then just a slice of life, its a window into the past and if the photographer isn't prepared to connect with the shot then they will fail to connect the audience with it. She never takes a shot just because it was there to be taken but she focuses on story telling, her photographs have to connect with the audience and the only way they can do that is if she places a thought into what they would look like before she takes them. With a limited set of vehicles at her disposal she is always willing to go out on a limb for someone with a ride that is extraordinary so if you have an old cadillac or a gem like dodge charger be sure to give her a shoutout.
Born in an army family, Rameen has lived in different parts of Pakistan from the pride of North West Peshawar to the land with manufacturing Gujranwala, she spent a few years stationed in Gilgit which was fun because every weekend she would get to go on picnics to different parts of the valley such as Hunza. After her father's retirement she finally settled in the city of Islamabad. Rameen has always been a doer, her nature to explore has helped her experience some of the most amazing things in life but when it comes to expression she felt the urge to go beyond words so at the tender age of 14 she picked a camera, a point and shoot which helped her explore the world of photography a little but it was later in teens that she got herself a proper DSLR. With a little help from Dody Baba, she gradually climbed the ladder of success, at first her approach was to click everything but then she decided to pick herself a genre and her love for cars led her to vehicle photography.
As she grows as a photographer she feels she can never be the best until she accepts that learning is a lifelong process which needs to be a part of life for anyone who is trying to achieve excellence. Her emotions take the best of her at times, a down to earth type of a person she is humbled easily and often finds herself doubting her own skill set which keeps her from rising above but with the passage of time she is evolving and will prove herself to the world. With new photographers joining the industry every day she feels confident that it will grow, evolving into something more than just an art form but will be a way of expression which will not only help people understand each other better but will encourage those who want to bring a change to build a better future.
