Special Feature: Wedding Moments

The best camera is the one that's with you.
- Chase Jarvis
Over the years Bangladesh has grown a lot, a country that was once a part of Pakistan is now one of the most promising economies in the world. Wedding Moments is a collective effort of people who strive everyday to make their country proud with their work and show the world the lighter side.

Tanvir Ali the creative genius behind the studio is a self taught photographer who started his journey a little while back but since then has grown amazingly. His work is not only inspirational but it reflects the beauty of colors that Bangli weddings are known for. Born and bred in Dhaka, Tanvir grew up seeing people from all cultures of the world and which led him to love the beauty around him. In 2009 he finally came up with a plan to express his love, he started wedding photography. To him nothing could express the emotions and the feelings of the people around him then the brides and her mates, dressed up in exotic colors ready to fill the venues. To this day he recalls how scared and nervous he was on his wedding gig, his hands tremblings while he clicked, rechecking every picture he took, looking everywhere making sure he didnt missed a thing but in the end it all played out the way he wished it would.
The camera is only a piece of equipment, like every other equipment its performance depends on how the user is operating it, so to him its never about having the best tools but its more about how to make the best out of what he has. Learning is a process which should never be abandoned no matter how far and ahead you are there is always something you can learn so he spends time looking at other photographers and their works and almost everyday he learns something new.
As this millenia unfolded it brought with it new possibilities, the advent of smart phones made it easier for the average joe to take pictures and a decade later owning a DSLR is easier. He hopes that from a decade from now things would get even better the sheer amount of photographers in the making is quite overwhelming but it is also bringing forward the talented people who were in the darkness and those individuals with the right spot light will eventually lead to a better industry where creativity will be higher and the talent will be cheaper.
A good photograph needs a good face, its possible to have one without it but its easier the other way around.
