Deviance is not welcomed in the Pakistani society but once in a while you will run into someone who will be different, unique in their ways and might even amaze you with what they have, Waliya Najid might not be the oldest of the photographers in the country but she has something that makes her stand out. Most photographers focus their efforts on people, trying to capture the human beauty and emotion but Waliya prefers to click things, the animals and the settings that can provoke a human emotion.
Born in a family where photography runs in the blood, Waliya grew up with the cameras. With her elder sister a photographer by profession and her father a hobbyist its no wonder that she found herself loving the craft. As time progressed she realized its the not the people that make her happy, a lot of photographers were already doing that anyways so she shifted her focus on settings, using the environment as her tool she headed out in the field trying to find the perfect click, may it come naturally or may she have to improvise to take it. Over the years a lot of photographers have caught her eye, some made her wonder if she will ever be that good others made her jealous because they did what she wanted but what kept her learning curve going was the inner passion of creating a perfect picture.
Even in her early twenties she is happy to report that the inner child in her is still alive and she loves to let it roam freely because to her thats where the creativity lies. Life has given her a lot and she feels confident that its going to be even more generous in the future so everyday she awaits the future. With new clickers popping up everyday she thinks its best to just sit back and relax, who knows what they would do. Most won't stay, others will drift into the stream of ordinary but a few will rise up against the odd and level the field with their creativity and she hopes that she will be amongst them.
Beauty is different for everyone, some might say a fairness is the key to beauty others will argue that its colored eyes so it makes no sense in trying to please people on something that is full of biased opinions instead she shoots beauty that cant be subjected to biases like a child playing, a girl posing, bubbles flying and so much more that the world has to offer.
