Trisha Santacroce

Trisha Santacroce is a photographer from New York inspired by movies, music, her brother and Partner, she aims to bring about the best of her city in the lime light with a touch of herself. Her artwork is a refreshing insight of how a big city like New York will fool your eyes and how every corner has a culture of its own which demands the viewer to have an unbiased eye. Her latest shoot titled "Masks" is the perfect example of how big cities like New York end up choking up its citizens.

Born on 26th March 1986 in Johnson City, New York she lives currently in Queens, New York. She started exploring the world with her camera at a very early age but it was in 2012 that she started taking it seriously. Like most artists she is self taught, it was practice and a lot of patience that got her to where she is today. For her photography is never work its a way to express herself, whenever she finds time she fires up her camera and starts taking pictures. In her world photography is a way of self expression and she enjoys it. For those who are starting a career in photography she feels its important for them to understand that the key is to do what you want and how you want it to be, there are no right ways or wrong ways to do it. Its all about how you feel the shot should be, decide what you want and deliver it the way you like.
In the coming years the industry will evolve, with the technological advancements photography has entered a personal domain which is opening new possibilities for people to experiment with and in a few years there will be so many photographers that the hunt for pixels and depths will end and the hunt for style, creation and innovation will begin. Beauty lies in the eye of beholder so whoever is behind the camera is responsible for how the image turns out to be, even an ant can look stronger then an ox if the photographer wants it to and an elephant might look helpless if the photographers clicks it to be that way. In photography it is very important to have a message attached to an image, if a photo is clicked without an insight into the shot then it will be horrible but when the photographer imagines it, its surely going to make a statement which will be felt by millions.
Photography is a passion and a hobby so in the future i'll be doing more shoots, the aim is to change perspectives and drive the imagination to a new level. Crafting an image is easy but attaching a message to it is hard and that is what i plan to perfect in the coming years.
