Amina Zahid Photography

Amina Zahid is a professional photographer and digital.artist with her skills and work she has given women the chance to explore and express their creativity. With over 3 years under her belt Amina Zahid is still trying to perfect her craft to her its not about how good you are but how good you can be. Her mantra
“I try to live my life where I end up at a point where I have no regrets. So I try to choose the road that I have the most passion on because then you can never really blame yourself for making the wrong choices. You can always say you're following your passion .”
-Darren Aronofsky

She was first introduced to photography at her university a mandatory course taught her the basics of the field and soon it. At first it was just a course but as it drew to a close she realised it had a calling to it, she found herself lost in the art of expression and felt the urge to pursue it, so she decided to start the journey on her own. To her amazement it came easy, expressions have always been her strong suit and with photography it got stronger. Her work quickly caught the eyes of the people around her, with her insightful clicks people found it hard to resist. What keeps her going is the smiles that her work brings to faces, the sheer joy of watching people indulging in the frozen moments, trying to be a part of something that is often not a part of their world, connecting with the emotions of the stranger.
With wedding shoots as her favorite she tries hard not to say no to a wedding project but in order to stay ahead she spends quality time watching her fellow photographers, learning from their mistakes and admiring them when they get something right. Her favorite is OJO wedding photography an egyptian photographer who has swept her in a world that was once beyond her imagination.
The key to survival in the business of freezing memories is imagination. Every shot has to be visualized before its taken, even the post processing methods to be used should be their in your head before the picture is taken. What keeps her at her toes is the fact that she wants to stand out and unlike most she wants her shots to be different not better. The quality is something that everyone can achieve with the right tools but it takes a lot of effort to make a shot standout, for it to be distinguished between a 100 and be different.
With the cost of DSLR's going down every day she sees a future with dark clouds over the industry, the field is flooded and she fears that soon the dam will burst resulting in a low demand and high supply situation. So she stresses the importance of creativity, if one has to survive in this industry they need to push the limits and break the rules.
