Jahanzeb Khan Photography

Someone fueled by a passion to capture people, Jahanzeb Khan is not your run of the mill photographer. He is someone with a desire to be extraordinary and this what drove him to be a wedding photographer. Most photographers love there work but Jahanzed has a different approach, it is the love of people that drives him and this is the sole reason he became a photographer.

Born in the beautiful city of Islamabad, beauty has always been around him. With rose lined walkways to the never ending green belts of the city but this unique blend of nature with urban architecture was not what pushed him it was his desire to show the world how all this beauty needs people to express itself. He started working with cameras at an early age but it was 2009 when he truly picked up a camera and promised himself that he will prove himself to the world, today most of his work focuses on weddings which one might consider as a tactic to capitalize on his skills but if you look closely you would understand that even if he is capitalizing, his basic instinct and passion is what keeps him going. Desi brides are a work of living art, dressed in nature inspired embroidered clothes and sparkling colors that would put even the most exotic of birds in awe. His philosophy might seem odd to a few but deep down we all will agree that it is people who add the final touch to nature.
Learning most of his craft from the information highway we call the internet, Jahanzed spent a lot of time learning and practicing, fueled by the urge to be better then the rest and a desire to make himself stand out he is never too shy and never too cautious. Making mistakes is natural and instead of himself down when he makes one, he quickly learns from it and tries to find a to make this mistake into a happy encounter. Like most photographers his demon seems to be the one within himself, the hunger to outdo himself keeps him going every day, every shoot is a new opportunity and every shot a new story that needs to be told. Never satisfied with his work, he keeps pushing himself to new limits and this is what in his opinions keeps him on top of his game.
As a simple person who believes in waiting for things to unravel, he has no hard goals for the future instead he is always focused on his work. Newcomers in the field annoy him a little because he feels that a person cant truly appreciate photography until they spend time understanding it. There are a lot of artists who he feels have the potential to be at the top but what holds them back is the fact that they don't understand there own skillset or their equipment. So whenever he is asked for an advice its to spend time understand photography, the essence of this art lies in the works of the greats and how those greats did their work. As for whats ahead well photography is a field that is growing rapidly, infact with the advances in the lens and camera technology he feels it will help photographers evolve and that will create new opportunities for artists
