Photography is more than just about good cameras and perfect equipment. It is an art that requires surgical precision and a unique skill set which often requires one to be the master of their nerves, Miss Tooba is an exceptionally talented artist and even though she uses a digicam her artwork is nothing short of stunning. With a keen eye for detail this young girl is striving hard and working her way up the professional circles.
A few months shy of celebrating her 21st birthday, Tooba has been flexing her artistic muscles for some time now. She started photography when she saw some shots from a friend, she knew from that moment on what she wanted from life but she wasn't sure how to achieve it. Without a dslr it seemed an impossible task to be a photographer because almost everyone she talked to said that its compulsory to have one which meant that she would have to wait a long time before she started chasing her dreams but then this girl decided to be the Alice in the Wonderland. She grabbed her faithful digicam and started clicking, at first the shots failed to make a ripple but then slowly she started to give her artwork the finesse by applying a few filters and adding some borders. A photographer who should be thrown aback by the lack of equipment choose to go against the odds and started practicing her craft.
Not most people would appreciate her way of expression because most her pictures have a classic touch to them and they seem aged but in this era of digital chaos we feel her style is a breath of fresh air, with softer colors and some grains she captures the passing moments through her lens in a manner that makes them stand out and give them a feel as if she is from the world of fairy tales. Whenever she is asked for advice she has one answer something that has been tried and tested by her "Don't try to be a part of system.... Rise above and let the system make your talents a part of it". As humans we have since the stone age tried to express ourselves through pictures, from the cave carving to this digital age of snapchats and insta's so it is extremely important for a photographer to be creative. Every human is different and that is the reason she urges everyone to unleash their creativity and the key to success lies in failing. Failures will help you learn what not to do and how to be better at whatever you do and never worry about what you have but instead focus on what you have.
