Photographers Pakistan: Sidra Sohail - A Girl Who Makes Best Use Of What She Has!!

You don't see many photographers who use just basic cameras to capture the world around them, most loose hope when they can't get there hands on a dslr and the few who don't well they just don't manage to capture the essence of photography with simple mobile cameras. Sidra Sohail is a hobbyist, hailing from the beautiful city of RawalPindi, her hunger for capturing shots has kept her at her toes for over 8 years now and when one looks at her instagram they might be led to believe that she is a professional photographer who is using proper equipments to capture.

Born and bred in the beautiful city of RawalPindi, Sidra had always been surrounded by nature and its beauty left a mark on her. When she was 14 she couldn't contain her love for it, so she started sneaking off with her father's phone and wherever she saw mother nature posing she took the shot. As she grew older her hobby turned into a passion. With most of her work focusing on nature rather then people her work stands out in the crowd and it adds a breath of fresh air to the photography scene in pakistan. She often makes mistakes but she quickly learns from them so to her those mistakes are the best part of being human, to her mistakes are like a mother who is always teaching her child something new.
She feels proud in knowing that she might not have the best camera at her disposal yet she achieves what she wants to with what she has, to her photography is more about who is taking the shot then about what is taking it. She feels sad when she sees people whining about not having proper equipment so that they can start photography, yes a dslr might help you as a professional but the reality is that your picture is not going to be judged by the megapixel count in it. Its the raw emotions, the nature's pose and the love that you place in a picture which will make it stand out and be a shot that is interesting. To her photography is an easy way to express herself and the world around her, being best friends with her camera she has ensured that she doesn't misses a chance to show others how mother nature posed for her.
A little mixed on what she wants to do in the future she is hoping to be either a professional photographer or an interior designer. Two very different fields with nothing in common between the two except the fact that they both help one express. As her final words she wants to share her wisdom of not waiting for the right tools and doing what you love with passion to achieve success.
