But this nation has a side to it that often stuns even its own people, maybe its a gods gift or maybe it's simply the hardships that people have to face that creativity is always easy to find. From the lush blend of colors to the random phrases that are witty, interesting and eye opening at times can be found on the buses and trucks. The same is the case with this amazing young woman, she came from a small town that most people don't even know exists yet her eye for good shots has garnered her a fan following that is loyal.
Madiha Arooj was born in a small town called Kamra in the Attock District, with her roots firmly planted in that small town she moved to a bigger city with her family where she found herself dreaming. As a young girl she always found herself fascinated with a camera and as she grew older she found herself craving one, starting from amatuer tools she never missed a chance to click. With some shots being awesome while others teaching her lessons on how to do better, at first she couldn't understand why photography as a medium appealed to her but then later on in life she discovered that it was genetics that got her behind a camera, her father was an enthusiast and like they apple don't fall from the trees she ended up being obsessed about it as well. Living in a city like islamabad one does feel closer to nature, with lush green bushes of roses lining the roads and an amazing back drop of mountains that are mostly covered in snow it is no miracle that she started her journey in the world of photography by clicking nature. Last year she decided to go professional and started attending seminars and workshops on photography which helped her polish her talents and providing her with the tools she needs to unleash her creativity at a bigger scale.
With the driving force being storytelling, Madiha's work often has a story with it. Something she felt when she clicked the shot and would love to convey to those viewing it which makes her shots stand out and are often vibrant enough to make one wonder what the person behind the camera was thinking when they took it. Everything has a beginning but often its hard to capture it and this is why she loves working with newborns, they aren't the easiest of subjects but they provide one with an amazing opportunity to explore how tiny little creatures can one day make a huge impact. With high rate of adoption for technology it is easier these days for people to find audience but with the competition growing constantly its getting harder for talent to get recognition which is why Madiha feels that the photography will evolve and soon it wouldn't be just about who takes the prettiest shot but it would be about who tells a better story with the shot. With her eyes set on the big prize she is always looking for her big shot which seems to be lost somewhere in the midst of all the work she has been doing but she is always ready and is hopeful that soon her search will end. To her a good shot isn't about just capturing it, for her its the conditions and the moment in which she captures it that matters so that when someone views it they can experience the warmth of the moment.
