Sundas Shahid Photography

Once she realized how much photography meant to her  she resigned from her job, not knowing where this new journey will take her but determined to make a name for herself in the world of art. Sundas Shahid is one of the many Pakistani’s who are living in Texas, USA but unlike most she believes in chasing her dreams, it wasn't long ago when she held the camera for the first time but knowing what she wanted in her life she gave up her job to follow a career in photography.

With her teen years about to end, Sundas is striving hard to find herself a career in photography. Her love for photography has been with her for all her life but it was 2014 that she finally realized she loved taking pictures more then she loved seeing them, starting her journey in photography by taking online tutorials she practiced her crafts on the unsuspecting kids near the pool in her apartment complex in a matter of months she started seeing improvement in her work. On February the 15th she finally came to conclusion that photography is what truly defines her so without giving her decision a second thought she quit her job. Within a month she was working with Armale Studio which gave her the room to spread her wings, experimenting with her craft while learning from the professionals.

Waliya Najib and Rammal Mehmud are some of her favorites and she is one day her work will be on par with their. With a long way to go what keeps her happy is the fact that she enjoys every moments she captures with her lens. Doing what you love is important in life, that’s what you would hear from her whenever you ask her for advice, she believes that a person cannot be the best at what they do unless they love it and that takes a lot of courage. It wasn’t easy for her to quit her job in her head were doubts, millions of them but what kept her going was the thought that photography makes you happy and that was enough.

A photograph is a reflection of a photographer not an image of what lies in front of them. Sometimes even the tiniest objects will look amazing on a paper and sometimes even the most beautiful of things will look horrific, so it is all about how the photographer wanted it to look not how the subject was. So when you are clicking make sure that you know what it would look like after its done.
